Dance Team Comeback :
Last school year Beach High’s Platinum Scarletts was no more. There was a time when on the field of Flamingo park the Scarletts danced their hearts out along with our very own Marching band. Not only did this team put in long hours of practice to promote school spirit and pump up the crowd, but each and every member had the opportunity to express their individuality through the art of dance. What happened to this amazing part of Beach High’s history? Lack of commitment, there was no encouragment from the school, and most importantly their was no BAND !
No bathroom during lunch ?
Denying students to use the restroom? Shouldnt someone speak up? Every student asked about this ‘new’ rule thinks it is competely insane. Last school year the students had the opportunity to go into all of the wings and use the ONLY bathrooms in the school. What happened? What are students supposed to do?
All students required to join an academy the next school year :
There will be many new academies coming to Beach High during the 2008-2009 school year. Fine arts academy, Academy of Hospitality and Tourism, ECT. All students will be required to join one of these. Why? How many choices are there? Will there be something for everyone?
